Choose the Right Massage Oil.
There are so many massage oils on the market that choosing the right one
can be a difficult task. In general, for most massages you’ll want to
use a light massage oil with a grapeseed, almond or olive oil carrier
base. Light massage oils are easily absorbed by the skin as they’re
stroked and patted on. They provide just the right amount of ‘slip’
under your hands as you massage and don’t leave the massaged feeling
like they were just dipped in a vat of grease. For longer massages, you
might choose a medium massage oil with an avocado or coconut oil base.
These will take longer to be absorbed by the skin, so provide more
‘slip’ for your hands.
